Mission Fuel Privacy Policy

Stormwind Solutions LLC ("Stormwind Solutions," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Mission Fuel mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

Summary

Mission Fuel does not require an account and does not collect, sell, rent, or use personal information for advertising or tracking. Fuel readings, mission-planning inputs, calculations, and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not sent to servers operated by Stormwind Solutions.

Information the App Does Not Collect

The App does not collect or transmit to Stormwind Solutions:

Names, email addresses, account credentials, or user profiles;
Precise or approximate location;
Fuel readings, flight information, mission details, or calculation inputs;
Device identifiers or advertising identifiers;
Contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health, or financial information;
Analytics, crash-reporting, browsing, or behavioral tracking data.

Information Stored on Your Device

Mission Fuel uses local device storage to retain information needed for its features, including fuel figures, mission-planning inputs, app settings, notification preferences, and whether Pro access has been recognized on the device. This information remains on your device and is not accessible to Stormwind Solutions.

You control this locally stored information. You may delete it by clearing the App's storage through your device settings or uninstalling the App. Because we do not receive this information, we cannot view, export, correct, or delete it on your behalf.

Notifications

If you enable fuel-check reminders, Mission Fuel requests permission to schedule notifications. Reminder timing and content are generated locally on your device. You may disable notifications at any time in the App or in your device settings.

Purchases

Mission Fuel Pro is offered as an optional, one-time in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. Stormwind Solutions does not receive or store your payment-card or bank-account information. Apple or Google may process transaction, account, device, and diagnostic information under their own privacy policies and terms. The App may request purchase-status information from the applicable store to complete or restore your purchase.

Feedback and Support Emails

If you choose the feedback or support option, Mission Fuel opens your device's email application with a message addressed to us. No message is sent until you choose to send it. We receive the email address, message, and any other information you voluntarily include. We use that information only to respond, provide support, investigate a problem, or improve the App.

Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and maintaining appropriate business records. You may request deletion of support correspondence by emailing us, subject to information we must retain for legal or legitimate business purposes.

Sharing and Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share App-entered fuel or flight data because we never receive it. Information voluntarily provided in a support email may be disclosed only when reasonably necessary to operate our business, comply with law, protect rights or safety, or respond to lawful requests.

Children's Privacy

Mission Fuel is a professional aviation planning aid intended for pilots and flight students. It is not directed to children, and the App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

The App minimizes privacy risk by keeping operational data on the user's device and not operating a user-data backend. You remain responsible for securing your device and its backups. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

International Users

The App is available in multiple countries. Stormwind Solutions is based in the United States. If you voluntarily contact us, your communication may be processed in the United States.

Your Privacy Choices

You may:

Decline or disable notification permission;
Delete locally stored App data by clearing storage or uninstalling the App;
Choose not to send feedback or support emails; and
Request access to or deletion of personal information contained in support correspondence by contacting us.

Because Mission Fuel has no user accounts or developer-operated storage of App-entered data, there is no separate account-deletion process.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Mission Fuel, legal requirements, or our practices. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If a future version begins collecting data, we will update this policy and applicable app-store disclosures.
